Dussehra is a traditional hindu festival celebrated every year at the end of Navratri.It is celebrated on the tenth day of Ashvin (A month in Hindu Calender).Dussehra is also known as Vijayadashami.This day is celebrated in the month of October.This year it is going to be celebrated on 5 October 2022.On this day Shri Ram got victory over Ravana as Ravana abducted Sita (Wife Of Shri Ram).In the journey to save Sita Shri Rama met many people such as Sugreev , Hanuman etc.At last only Hanuman ji were able to sucess in finding Sita Maa.When he found Lanka he fought with Kumbhakarna (Brother of Ravana) , Meghanada (Son of Ravana) and Ravana.In the end Shri Ram got victory over Ravana.Shri Ram handed over the Lanka to Vibishan (Brother of Ravana).After 20 Days of dussehra Diwali is celebrated because on this day Shri Ram returned to Ayodhya with Sita (his Wife).After that every year the mannequin of Ravana is burnt.This festival marks the the victory of Shri Ram over Ravana.
